The Montague Fire Station Mural in progress. Inside the station on the wall I have begun the painting that I designed for the Fire Station. The size is approx. 20'x15'. This is just the beginning of the painting, check back for more pics in the works.

Restored Painted Antique Table

Look closely at this fine antique painted table. I restored the table back to the original painting , this peacock was ruined in a fire and the table restored . I painted the Peacock and the pin stripping around the outside.

It is painted in acrylic paints.

Just another way to use my talents.

Schroeders Vintage Model - T Ford Truck . I did all the pin striping, the Logo on the side of the truck and the Schroeders Nursery lettering along the top and around the other side and back. The truck is in the Fourth of July Parade.

The Finished Donor Tree for the Tamarak. The leaves on the tree are made from brass and engraved. The names on the leaves are the people that donated to the Tamarak , people and businesses around the area. I thank everyone for this oppurtunity to use my talents.

Schullers Books - Children's Mural

A 40 foot Mural painting designed for the childrens book section in the Grand Rapids
downtown , Schullers Book Store. The design are the characters in various children's books moving along the Grand River , stopping in the many towns it runs through. Finishing up in Lake Michigan.

Michigan Department of Transportation Mural

The Mural at the MDOT in Grand Rapids , Michigan. Together with a fellow
artist , we labored over the design and spent many many weeks of mural painting
in the lobby of the MDOT. Located on Front Street in Downtown Grand Rapids.
This is a great accomplishment.

The Three Graces

My three graces. You have seen these woman before possibly in Florence Italy? The Uffizi Gallery? These 3 beauties I painted on a large canvas , size 5'x 4' they hang in my living room.
This is the quality of art work I can produce. In oils as the master Botticelli painted
back in the Renaissance Era - 1482

Cycle of Life

The phases of the moon adorn the branches of the tree, which portray the seasons of the earth. If you look closely , the wintry branches are made with flashed glass. Flashed glass is a process where colored glass is introduced to molten glass and the two pieces meld and become one. Then the glass is masked off in the areas to keep the color, and the glass is sand blasted to reveal the white wintry branch.

Mosaic in the works

In my kitchen I wanted to bring light to this hidden corner under the cupboards. Intertwined with the swirling powerful glass are pieces of cut mirror to reflect the light of the day. Happy.
